The
Youth is primarily for Christian young people. (1st year
and up) It meets every week on Sunday evenings for Bible study,
fellowship and discussion. There are two groups - 1-3 form and
4th Form+ but groups are more and more integrated as the older
ones learn to disciple the younger ones.
Joint
meetings are held regularly with the Moira Presbyterian YF.
Activities
include a Parents' Open Night, a Youth Band and Bible Studies
by the older teens for the younger ones. During the summer an
8 week (one night per week) study with Form 4 and 5 boys was helpful
and challenging.
They also have an annual weekend away.
Some of the young people have been active in outreach teams with
Baptist Youth and others, as well as getting involved in serving
the Lord in Moira Baptist Church. Quite a few have spent short
periods abroad. See here>>>
