Moira Baptist Church, Northern Ireland - a church with a heart

Moira Baptist Church

Sunday school
10.00 am to 10.45 am
ages 3 and above

Sunday School meets on Sunday mornings from 10.00 a.m. until 10.45 a.m. Sunday School superintendent is Mr Norman Crowe.  Over 80 children are on the roll and more are welcome. Parents do not have to belong to or attend the church for their children to be enrolled.

Our aim is not to entertain children but to teach them the Word of God. This will be done in a way that is interesting and without pressure. We have a clear policy statement setting out our attitudes towards children.

"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up." Deut. 6:6-7.

The Lord continues to bless the work of the Sunday School and at present we have over 80 children meeting on a Sunday morning. Desmond has about 14 children in the Junior Bible class and Gavin has about 10 or 12 young people meeting in the Senior Bible Class. The total number meeting each Sunday morning is in excess of 100.

It is a great privilege and opportunity to be able to share the love of Jesus with each of these young lives, and we thank God that He has already saved many of these little ones.
