Our Wider world Vision
We encourage our young people to consider getting more closely acquainted with Mission through gap years, summer teams and short term appointments. Many have taken up the challenge over the years.
In 2018/9, Tim Beattie spent nine months working alongside Andrew and Rosalia Elliott, Baptist Missions workers in Algeciras, Spain.
He was heavily involved with the Renacer Church and helped to teach English three times a week..
Pray that God will enable those who attended to see something different in the witness that was given. Pray that they would find joy in Jesus and learn from the other believers who witness in this area.
Each year our Sunday School have a project, normally focusing on some aspect of overseas mission. While raising funds is the more obvious purpose, we have a deeper purpose. That is to enthuse, inspire and encourage children to take an interest in bringing the gospel of Christ to a needy world.
