Our Purpose:
The focus of the MBC Care Team is to reflect God’s love by providing practical and loving support to those in MBC who are in need.
And, connect with visitors and newcomers to MBC in such a way that they experience a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
Our Vision:
The Goal of the MBC Care Team is to meet the needs of the members and friends of MBC as well the community which we serve,
by providing:
- Spiritual support
- Emotional encouragement
- Short-term practical assistance
We want to show that we love people
How we do this:
Our Welcome Team make visitors and newcomers feel welcome to MBC and will want to come back
Our Fellowship Café provides the space and time for folk to meet over a cuppa and a ‘cookie’ so that they can get to know each other better and chat. (This ministry has had to be discontinued until Covid regulations are eased)
Through our Card Ministry we share in those special occasions of our members and friends by sending appropriate cards . We also come along side those who are ill and who have been bereaved.
The New Mothers & Babes team reach out to new moms and their families by way of a gift, card and meals
BiB is be available for the elderly and less agile to help with practical things like shopping, changing a light bulb, cutting the lawn, providing lifts, paying regular visits.
We provide ‘Ready Meals’ in situations where there is a short-term need in the home
