Moira Baptist Church - location

Moira Baptist Church

Moira Baptist Church has been in existence since 1987. It came into being through the work of the Baptist Missions (Ireland) church planting team the previous summer. The church was formed with 13 members and became a member of the Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland. God has graciously blessed the church over the years and today there are more than 120 members. We have a Sunday morning congregation of around 240.

The church building is set on a beautiful hilltop on the East side of the village. It enjoys uninterrupted views over the Lagan valley Photos of our location

Henry Court, Moira

On the same site, the Baptist Housing Association has erected sheltered accommodation with 30 flats. Most of those who live there in Henry Court are elderly and quite a number of them come to our church. They find the proximity of the church building so convenient and we are greatly blessed through their ministry in the church.
